Producer, director & scriptwriter, a former theatrical actress, while getting a degree in Fine Arts-Music & Drama, Serena graduates in Theatre Acting at Bologna Drama School. In 1982 she played a full season in Rai TV children’s channel on National Italian television (40 episodes). The following year she moves to USA and studied at UCLA College, San Francisco, Ca. Later moved to Los Angeles to perfect her professional acting skills. During her time in Hollywood, Serena developed a network between L.A. & Italy organizing exchange-workshops for professional acting training. Returning to Italy in ‘87 assisted her American Actor’s Studio teacher to start up The Studio De Fazio in Rome.

Taking a break from the art’s Serena went into the sales & marketing business, traveling the world representing Italian manufacturers abroad, developing potential Export Markets to prospective clients. After 13 years of continues travel as Export Manager, it was time to lock up the suitcase & return to her love of the arts. In 2000 Serena is back on stage, teaches drama classes, directing her own screenplays. In 2007 she joined Imago Orbis as a partner, in charge for documentary project as production executive manager on international co-pro development. She now follows Project Development from the early stages on an International & co-production basis, by combining the expertise gained in international relations and her passion for the audiovisual new media. In 2010 she was project creator and Executive Manager of PADI FILM (Professional Association Documentarist of Italy) for penetration on Chinese Market and developed a network that lead to Italy-China co-production. She just accomplished her first documentary film as director.
